Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

You will be enrolled if you elect in a medical plan. If you elect in the Bronze plan, Simco will cover the first $3,500 of your deductible expenses. If you elect in the Gold 6 plan, Simco will cover the first $800 of your deductible expenses. Eligible Date of Hire

Enhanced NYS Disability and Paid Family Leave

Employee is eligible for three-times the Standard Disability Benefit (50% to a max of $510/week)

Medical Insurance

Two medical plans being offered through Excellus. One is a bronze option (higher deductibles, lower premiums) and a Gold Option (Lower deductibles, higher premiums). Simco covers 70% of the Employee only rate and then that amount is applied to all other tiers. Eligible Date of Hire.

Voluntary Colonial Products

These are Voluntary plans offered on both pre-tax and post-tax basis. The employee is responsible for payment on these plans. Include Accident, Cancer, Disability, Life and Critical Illness. Eligible Date of Hire

Life Insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Amount is equal to three-times your Base Annual Earnings to a max of $300,000. Guaranteed issue to $130,000. Proof of Good Health required for amount over $130,000. Simco pays 100% of premium.

Sim “Co-Pilot” Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)

Free, confidential professional consultations available to employees for any personal or family problems. Includes counseling services, health advocacy, online resources, child/elder care resources, legal and financial consultations, virtual concierge, and individualized wellness resources. Eligible at time of hire.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

This is being offered through Benefit Resources Inc. The FSA limit for 2021 is $2,750 and the dependent care FSA limit is $5,000. Eligible date of hire.

Dental Insurance

Excellus Plan. Company covers 70% of the Employee only rate and that amount is applied to all other tiers. Preventative covered at 100%, Basic Covered at 80% and Major covered at 50%. $1,500 annual maximum with a $50 Single / $150 Family Annual Deductible. Eligible Date of Hire.

Vision Insurance

VSP plan. $140 allowance towards frames and contact lenses. $20 copay on Exams, covered once per year. Lenses and contact lenses covered once per year. Frames covered once every other year. Company covers 70% of the Employee Only rate and that amount is applied to all other tiers. Eligible date of hire.

401(k) Plan

Retirement with payroll deductions from pre-taxed earnings with 100% company match on the first 3% and then 50% company match on the next two percent. Eligible Date of Hire

Personal Time Off

Full-time employees begin to accrue 120 hours of PTO for their first year of service and accrue a day each anniversary year. thereafter for a max of 200 hours.

Holiday Pay

Seven paid holidays. Eligible Date of Hire.

Birthday's Off

Full-time employees receive their birthday off paid. If it lands on a weekend, the closest business day is their day off.
